Regional Planning Director (Western Europe)
Reporting to the Head of Planning in the UK and the Global Planning Director in the USA.Main Function of the role
To originate breakthrough brand and communications strategy across all Olay brands across all Western European markets, in line with global strategy.Position in Structure

Regional Planning Director, working alongside Regional Business Leader and Creative Director.
Main Duties

Working with local markets and regional client hub to come up with fresh consumer insight and communications strategies on specific client products and initiatives, as well as on an overall brand level.

Working with internal agency team at senior level (Business Leader, Creative Director) and also with global agency team.
Any Particular Aptitude/Skills Required
-
Two main planning skills are required. Firstly, the ability to come up with genuinely fresh and interesting strategies based on things people really care about and secondly the ability to devise and implement integrated communications plans. Not a digital planner, but someone who can think in terms of digital communications. Not a media planner but someone who can understand where the consumer conversation needs to take place and how to make a brand part of it.

Multi-lingual skills are preferred for this international role.
Qualifications and Experience

Proven experience in developing breakthrough brand and communications strategy across many markets is essential.

Also essential is a track record in doing this in non-traditional media, i.e. outside of TV & print. We're looking for someone who can produce communications strategy and guide the development of creative ideas that span digital, integrated and above-the-line communications.
Location
Based at 80 Charlotte Street, London W1A 1AQ but regular travel across Europe will be required in the role.
Salary and Benefits
Competitive salary for the right level of expertise in this field plus private medical insurance, contributory pension scheme, life cover and income protection benefits. Holiday entitlement of 22 days per annum plus Bank Holidays and three days between Christmas and New Year.
