Michael Rebelo is the Managing Director of Saatchi & Saatchi London, he is also responsible for driving new business across the agency.

Prior to moving to London, Michael Rebelo was CEO of 100-person Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore transforming the agency into a creative powerhouse in Asia Pacific winning numerous creative awards, significant new business wins and delivering considerable revenue growth over the past three years.

With Rebelo at the helm, Saatchi & Saatchi Singapore was named agency of the year 2007 by Marketing Magazine, Ad Asia Magazine, Campaign Brief Asia Magazine and by the Institute of Advertising Singapore for the second year running making it the undisputed number one creative agency in Asia Pacific.

From 2003-2005, Rebelo was General Manager of Saatchi & Saatchi Australia during which time the agency secured significant new business wins from Goodman Fielder and Fairfax Media including the Sydney Morning Herald flagship account.

Rebelo was previously General Manager of Saatchi & Saatchi New Zealand where he ran the Wellington office.  His client responsibilities there included Westpac, New Zealand Post, Telecom NZ, Lexus and Toyota.

In 2003, Rebelo was named Australian Financial Review’s BOSS magazine’s “Young Australian Executive of the Year”.  Rebelo is originally from Melbourne, Australia and has been with Saatchi & Saatchi for over 11 years. He is engaged to be married and shares a home with his fiancée and their dog.
