Saatchi & Saatchi partners with The Talent Business to host CREAM 2011

Saatchi & Saatchi today launched a partnership with The Talent Business to source the best creative talent, worldwide. As the official sponsor of this year’s annual competition, CREAM, the agency will work alongside The Talent Business to introduce the best graduate creative teams and individuals to renowned creative directors from the worlds’ top advertising agencies and creative businesses. Now in its 12th year, the competition culminates in a private view exhibiting the winners’ work. Saatchi & Saatchi London will host this year’s event at their Charlotte St offices, 6th October 2011.
Entrants must submit a portfolio of their work to The Talent Business; the winners are then picked by a group of independent judges, consisting of Executive Creative Directors and Creative Directors from the top advertising agencies worldwide. This year’s competition sees an acclaimed judging panel including Paul Silburn, Darren Bailes, Ty Montague, Justin Tindall, Yann Elliot, Luke Williamson, Dave Bedwood, Andy Sandoz, Toby Talbot and Nik Studzinski, amongst others. The 2011 iteration of CREAM reflects a truly global pool of talent, with an influx of portfolios from Sweden, USA, Germany, Brazil, Portugal and the UK. Schools who have participated include Berghs School of Communication, VCU Brand Centre, Hyper Island, Watford College, The School of Communication Arts 2.0, and Miami Ad School.
Saatchi & Saatchi have a long standing commitment to sourcing stellar creative talent: The Saatchi & Saatchi New Directors’ Showcase, now in its 21st year, invites submissions from hundreds of directors across the globe. The Showcase features the very best in new directing talent, identified by Saatchi & Saatchi offices around the world. From an initial line of several hundred directors, the Saatchi & Saatchi Worldwide Creative Board make the final selection. This year, 17 directors made the cut. The initiative is one of the highlights of the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity and has become one of the most popular events during Cannes week.
