ITV's Ad of the Year 2011 positions T-Mobile, Parking Ticket at its no.2 spot, and Wall's, Thank You at no.19. T-Mobile, Parking Ticket saw car drivers across the UK given thousands of pounds disguised as parking fines, as teams of phoney traffic wardens took to the streets. Voted in at no.2 by the UK public, the hour-long Christmas show celebrated the best adverts to have been broadcast on British TV screens over the last 12 months, and revealed some of the fascinating stories behind them.
This topped off earlier success with T- Mobile and Saatchi & Saatchi scooping the top spot on YouTube's list of the UK's ten most popular video ads of the year. The list ranked ads that were uploaded to YouTube throughout 2011 that achieved the highest number of views from the UK public. T-Mobile came out on top for its world famous Royal Wedding video which has clocked up an incredible 25 million hits since its launch.
